As a Jr. Video/Reel Editor, you will create engaging short-form content, edit reels, and bring creative storytelling to life for social media and digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos and reels for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Add music, transitions, captions, and effects to make content engaging
- Support the social media and marketing team with campaign-focused video edits
- Stay updated on trending reel formats, memes, and editing styles
- Organize raw footage and maintain a structured content library
- Deliver videos optimized for each platform (aspect ratio, resolution, compression)
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or Final Cut
- Creativity and awareness of social media content trends
- Understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling in short-form video
- Good sense of music syncing, typography, and motion graphics fundamentals
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with design and marketing teams
- Portfolio or sample work of reels or short-form content (preferred)
Performance Metrics
- Quality and creativity of video edits and reels
- Engagement levels (views, likes, shares) on published content
- Timeliness in delivering videos for campaigns
- Adaptability to trends and feedback
